Sri Shivananda Sharma
Founder
Sri M.C. Shivananda Sarma was the visionary who laid the foundation of the Rashtreeya Vidyalaya Institutions. Born into a peasant family in T. Narasipura, Karnataka, in 1911, he was an ardent social worker from his childhood. Inspired by the likes of Sri Madan Mohana Malaviya and Sri Rabindranath Tagore, he started the first college with just six students on roll, on the auspicious day of Vijayadashami in 1940.
